Collimation (alignment) of the optical system.
Before the beginning of operation of a telescope it is necessary to provide parallelism of telescope’s and finderscope’s axis for what it is necessary:
Looking to the finderscope1 make on the sharp image by rotation of an eyepiece 2.
Establish the finderscope1 in rings 3 and fix it by screws 4.
Sight the telescope on any object of the small sizes so that its image has been approached on the center of a field of view of an eyepiece, then by adjustment the screws 4 combine the image of the chosen object with field of view of finderscope.
It is while in service possible partial de-collimation of a telescope, for its elimination are adjustment screws 5 and 6, located on a back flange of a telescope.
